Our Mission

It’s simple: create artwork that inspires and makes people smile.

Meet our founder: Rebecca Pirko

Hello! I’m the maker behind PirkoPalooza, and started up by selling art figurines in my bedroom to my parents. I’d often scam them, and not complete custom orders. Learning from my mistakes, I have expanded my universe. I added tarot readings to my pop-ups, and allowed the vision to streamline. I am VERY into the ocean (big sea guy) and the savannah. I have adored big cats and whales since I was a kid, and drew/sculpted them since. I hope to bring my awe of those big animals into each of those pieces to you! In addition to that, check each products tag to see what cause it donates to!

pirkopalooza’s story

Orchi, where did that come from? The word orozlán means lion in Hungarian. My first language is Hungarian, as my whole family came from Hungary. I couldn’t fully pronounce orozlán, and would sputter out - ORCHI. This became a favorite of my grandparents and parents alike, so the word stuck. They know me as the orozlány, or lion girl, to this day. This childhood sentiment and fascination for lions mirrors my company values. I continue to harbor a deep desire to learn about the world around me, and hold this inner child’s fascination with me through life. In all the works I produce, I hope to bring your inner awe and adoration out through PirkoPalooza.

Meet the creative team

Hi! My name is Archit (He/Him), I am a local creative from Minnesota! I reached out to Rebecca about turning PirkoPalooza into a brand, and I had so much fun throughout this process. I was in charge of the creative direction behind how the Nostalgia Collection photoshoot would look like as well taking those photos as well. I also worked on building this website from the ground up! Here is my portfolio :)

Hey! I'm Elli (she/her), a Designer and Creative in the Twin Cities. With degrees in Graphic Design and UX Design, I've developed a passion for bringing ideas to life through packaging, branding, and web design. I love the entire creative process, from the initial spark of an idea to the final touches that make a design user-friendly and visually compelling. Checkout my portfolio!
